Topographic Mapping of Part of Kwara State Local Government Area

1.0 Introduction

Geoinfotech Resources Limited was awarded a Topographic mapping of Part of Kwara State Local Government Area, Nigeria. The project was carried out on the 9th of May, 2022, and was concluded on the 16th of May, 2022. Analysis commenced immediately and the submission of all deliverables was done on the 16th of May, 2022. This report describes in detail the works carried out.

1.2.Project Specifications

The scope of work for this project is as follows:

1. 1. • Part of Kwara State and her Local Government which are: Iwajowa, Kajola, Itesiwaju, Saki East, Saki West, Atisbo, Olorunsogo, Baruten, Orelope, Kaima, Iseyin, Irepo, and Borgu (Niger State)
      • Forest, Contour, Settlements, Rivers, Spot Heights, Schools, Places of Worship, Water Bodies, Roads, and Railway Lines
      • Data Processing with ArcGIS Software
      • Production of Topographic Map
      • Deliverables (Softcopy of Topographic Map, PDF of the Study Area)
      • Report to be presented using Ms. Office Suite

3.0 Conclusion

The Topographic Map was completed and on careful analysis of the data acquired, the results of the data processing, and the maps produced, we safely came to the following conclusions:
