Precision Topographical Survey and Mapping for Smarter Infrastructure Planning

Geoinfotech successfully carried out a detailed topographical survey in Zot Shen, Jos, Plateau State, to support infrastructure planning and development. The project, conducted between March 10 and March 14, 2025, involved advanced terrain mapping, elevation profiling, and contour analysis to provide accurate data for informed decision-making.

The survey process included fieldwork and office analysis. During the fieldwork phase, our team established Ground Control Points (GCPs), conducted GNSS and total station surveys, and captured high-resolution aerial data using state-of-the-art unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). The office phase focused on data processing, terrain analysis, elevation modeling, and the production of detailed topographical maps.

Our final deliverables—orthophotos, Digital Terrain Models (DTM), and XYZ coordinate datasets—provided precise terrain visualization, helping the client enhance project planning, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize infrastructure design.
