On Nigeria’s Independence day October 1, 2022, Geoinfotech hosted a free GIS Workshop titled “GIS DATA COLLECTION AND INTEGRATION”.
The workshop was attended by students in various stages of GIS expertise. They all left with more knowledge and experience, hoping for another opportunity like it.
That opportunity has arrived!
The Geoinfotech team has decided to host another free workshop to commemorate our 5th anniversary as a company. This is to celebrate 5 years of several Land, Aerial, Cadastral, and Topographic surveys, Geospatial projects, Remote Sensing/ GIS, Drone Pilot training, and other courses.
Through the years, we have recognized the need to equip the budding geospatial community with skills that can help improve the quality of GIS data collection, integration, interpretation, and usability.
Timely identification of issues that require the use and application of Geographic Information Systems aids in the appropriate measure to ensure that an effective solution is found.
The Anniversary workshop tagged: APPLICATION OF REMOTE SENSING AND DRONE TECHNOLOGY IN GIS seeks to explore and shed more light on the gray areas surrounding the application of Drone technology and Remote Sensing tools in Geographic Information systems.
The workshop will feature 5 experts from the fields of GIS and Remote Sensing, Surveying and Geospatial science, and Drone and Helicopter Piloting. The reason for pooling all these professionals is to cover all aspects of the topic to ensure attendees understand it from every angle.
The workshop will hold on November 4, 2022. Representatives of Ministries are billed to attend. This is a great avenue to network with professionals and other GIS enthusiasts.
