This course is designed to equip university students with the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to become proficient in drone piloting and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Students will gain hands-on experience in flight planning, drone operations, and spatial data analysis.
Through a combination of classroom instruction and field-based practice, participants will:
- Learn drone safety regulations, mission planning, flight checklists, and both manual and automated flight operations.
- Explore GIS tools for analyzing and visualizing spatial data, including vector and raster datasets.
By the end of the training, students will be able to confidently operate drones, process geospatial data, and create professional map products that support decision-making in various sectors.
