The locations and size of the property to be surveyed determine the cost of a land survey in Lagos State. The scale of fee stipulates the minimum scale of fees a surveyor can charge for a survey job. In addition to the prices listed in the scales of fees, surveyors charge a professional fee which covers but is not limited to the following; Job content, Personnel, Instrumentation, Logistics & Transportation, Materials, Value of Land, Type of vegetation, Professional Development & Administration Charges, Contingency.
Lagos State is divided into special areas and three (3) zones;
Zone A: Covers the following LGAs – Eti-Osa, Lagos Island, Ikeja, and Apapa.
Zone B: Includes the following LGAs- Agege, Alimosho, Amuwo-Odofin, Ibeju-Lekki, Ifako-Ijaiye, Kosofe, Lagos Mainland, Mushin, Oshodi/Isolo, Shomolu, and Surulere.
Zone C: Covers the following LGAs – Ajeromi-Ifelodun, Epe, Badagary, Ikorodu.
Special Areas include Waterfront Property and Property along Major Highways Waterfront Property includes; the Atlantic Ocean, Lagos Lagoon, and Badagry Creek.
Property Along Major Highways; Lekki/Epe Expressway, Ikorodu Road, Lagos/Badagary Expressway, Apapa/Oshodi Expressway, Lagos/Abeokuta Expressway, Agege Motor Road, Lagos/Ibadan Expressway.
From this point forward, I’ll inform you about the cost of land survey in Lagos State, with the least amount being the area of plots ranging from 0 to 1000 sq.m and with respect to each division (zones) in Lagos State.
