Plane misses colliding with drones
The latest news surfaced aimed concern that drone near-misses are on the rise, significantly posing a threat to recreational and commercial planes. An Airbus A320 plane pilot on the approach to Heathrow in October last year narrowly avoided a collision with a drone which was within the wing deck of the aircraft.
It was examined that no serious damage was done on this occasion, but it was certain that most drones are flown safely, sensibly and within the limits of the law, much more education of drone users and enforcement of the rules is needed to ensure our skies remain safe from this threat.
According to UK Airport Board report stated that “Members concluded that this incident appeared to be a very near-miss and that the drone plane operator should not have been flying in that location at that altitude”
Although knowing that this incident seems to be the most threat category of risk. Even to this moment. there is no trace of the drone operator.
