Helicopter crashed into a residential building
A helicopter said to operated by Quorom avaition coming from PortHarcout crashed into a residential building at Salvation Opebi road, Ikeja area of Lagos. It was reported to have carried 3 passengers, 2 crew members and a passenger.
Officials of the Lagos Emergency Management Agency(LASEMA) and firefighters are currently at the scene.
Two persons have been reported to have lost their lives including the pilot and one person injured and is being attended to at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, but people in the residential building were not crashed nor injured.
Director-General, LASEMA, Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyitolu, said, “We have deposited the two bodies in the mortuary. We on top of challenges especially crowd control Operation is ongoing and updates will follow.”
