Wash your hands regularly and thoroughly with alcohol-based rubbing or washing your hands with soap and water, destroys viruses on your skin.
Maintain social distance at least 1 meter (3 feet) between you and someone coughing or sneezing. When anyone coughs or sneezes, they stream from their nose or mouth tiny liquid droplets that may contain the virus. When you’re too close, you can breathe in droplets, like the COVID-19 virus, if you have the disease.
Avoid touching the sensitive inner parts of your body eg (eyes, nose and mouth). Hands touch several objects and catch viruses. When infected, hands can transfer the virus to your eyes, nose, or mouth. The virus will invade your body and make you sick.
Practice respiratory hygiene Make sure that you and your people follow proper respiratory hygiene. This means covering the mouth and nose with bent elbow or tissue while coughing or sneezing. Replace the used tissue immediately.
Virus distributing droplets. Through practicing good respiratory hygiene, you protect people around you from viruses like cold, flu, and COVID-19.
Seek medical care early – Just in case If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing
When you have fever, cough and trouble breathing, stay home early when you feel unwell. When you have fatigue, cough, and breathing trouble, seek medical attention and call ahead. Follow the local health authority’s guidance.
